Sisters Blair & Ashley started Pastel Proper in 2021 with the idea that they wanted to add a touch of their own design style to the world of home décor.The idea of The Blank Book originated when Blair connected the dots that a coffee table book she purchased at the NC State used bookstore about Raleigh, NC sat on her entry console for over 10 years and brought her so much joy to feel that connection to her city. She never read the inside--it was purely decorative. SO...Why not bring that same joy to others and Ashley, added let's make the font and cover material beautiful and add even more of a touch of the city with an special relatable icon! An original idea came to life!We have added our lacquered trays for a touch of form and function-as moms we know having beautiful things is even better when they help with making all the "junk" look a little bit more stylish!We hope you enjoy our line and can't wait to continue to bring more items and options your way!
