Time commitment: 6-8 hours per week

What you’ll be working on:

You will help manage and grow our social media presence across:

• Instagram (posts, stories, and Reels)
• TikTok
• Facebook / Meta

Key responsibilities include:

• Creating and posting 5 to 6 pieces of content per week, including at least one Reel or TikTok
• Brainstorming and executing creative ideas for:
• Styling and showcasing our books and trays in real life settings
• Gift guides, holidays, and seasonal moments
• Trend-driven Reels and TikToks that feel fun and on brand
• Brand storytelling that highlights who we are and what Pastel Proper stands for
• Founder content, including fun, approachable ways to feature us, share behind the scenes moments, and help customers feel connected to the people behind the brand
• Writing captions, selecting hashtags, and helping keep our brand voice consistent
• Participating in a weekly check in call with us to review content, performance results, grown and upcoming ideas

We will also send you physical Pastel Proper products (books and trays) so you can create your own original content at home. In addition, you will have access to our full library of professional photos, styled shoots, and raw video footage that you can use to edit, repurpose, and turn into Reels and TikToks in your own creative style.

What we’re looking for:

You do not need professional social media experience. We care more about:

• Creativity
• A strong visual and aesthetic sense
• Understanding of what performs well on Instagram and TikTok
• Reliability and communication
• Enthusiasm for building a brand
• Experience with Canva
